Oasys (previously called Mini Hollywood) is a theme park located in the desert of Tabernas (Almería province, Spain). At first it was based on the sets that were built for Western films that were recorded in the province in the 60s and 70s. There are two other theme parks about westerns in the Tabernas desert: Fort Bravo / Texas Hollywood and Western Leone.
It is located at kilometer 464 on the N-340 road, near the town of Tabernas. Its original name was Yucca City and it was designed by Carlo Simi for the film Death had a price, from 1965, directed by the Italian Sergio Leone. It has been used for a multitude of films of the western genre. After the recording of The Good, the Ugly and the Bad, the extras who participated in the filming decided to buy the set and advertise it as a tourist attraction. Later, the site was acquired by the Playa Senator hotel chain. The park offers daily cowboy shows and can can dances; In addition, it also has a zoological reserve with big cats, exotic fauna and birds, and two swimming pools.
